- How to get there? By vehicle once you arrive in Dominical and after approximately 30 minutes driving south, you will pass the town of Ojochal. When you see two yellow bus stops, one on each side of the road, about 3 km south of Ojochal (km 179), turn left and follow the signs to Rio Tico Safari Lodge. The road is not paved but is accessible for single cars all year round. In 10 minutes you will arrive at the Rio Tico Safari Lodge in Vergel de Punta Mala.
- Description of the tents: All tents are very comfortable and have private bathrooms with hot water, some have king beds and others have 2 queen beds for families. But in addition to the tents they also have hotel rooms for those who do not want a tent.
- Facilities: Breakfast is served every morning in their restaurant and if you wish you can have lunch or dinner in a Tilapia Restaurant near the lodge, where you can catch your own dinner! They also offer different tours in the area.
